OPPO系のrealme、中国市場から一時撤退

中国のRealme Chongqing Mobile Telecommunications (RealMe重慶移動通信)は中国市場から一時撤退すると発表した。

中国市場で展開を一時停止すると案内している。

一時停止と表現しているが、期間には言及していない。

既存製品の販売、保証、サポートは中国のGuangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications (OPPO広東移動通信)で継続する。

サポートは2026年4月1日付けでGuangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunicationsに移管しており、中国市場で事業規模を縮小する動きは見られたが、最終的には一時撤退することになった。

中国市場から一時撤退後は海外市場の開拓に集中する。

海外市場ではパフォーマンスやゲーミングを重視して技術力を世界に発信するという。

なお、海外市場はRealme Chongqing Mobile Telecommunicationsの立場では中国以外の市場となる。

Realme Chongqing Mobile Telecommunicationsはrealme (真我)の商標を用いてスマートフォンを中心に携帯端末を展開する。

当初、realmeはGuangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunicationsのインド法人であるOPPO Mobile Indiaがサブブランドとして展開を開始しており、後にRealme Chongqing Mobile Telecommunicationsとして分社化および国際展開を開始した。

Realme Chongqing Mobile TelecommunicationsとGuangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunicationsは兄弟会社となる。
