ISSがSprint Nextel株主にSoftBankの買収計画を推奨

Sprint Nextelは議決権行使助言サービスであるInstitutional Stockholder Services (ISS)がSprint Nextelの株主に対してSoftBankの買収計画を支持するように通達したと発表した。
米国市場での競争力を向上させるためにSprint Nextelのネットワークを強化する必要があり、そのためには資金力と技術力が必要とされている。
SoftBankの実績がSprint Nextelのネットワークをより良くするものと判断され、ISSはSprint Nextelの買収についてDISH NetworkではなくSoftBankの案を支持するように勧告した。
