iPhone 8とiPhone 8 Plusの製造工場が判明、Foxconn・Pegatron・Wistronが製造

Apple製のFDD-LTE/TD-LTE/W-CDMA/GSM端末「A1905」および「A1897」が2017年9月13日付けで国家通訊伝播委員会(National Communications Commission：NCC)の認証を通過した。

A1905はApple iPhone 8、A1897はApple iPhone 8 Plusの型番のひとつであり、国家通訊伝播委員会の認証では製造工場が公表されている。

いずれも製造工場はFutaihua Industry (Shenzhen) (富泰華工業(深圳))、Hong Fu Jin Precision Electronics (鴻富錦精密電子)、Wistron InfoComm Manufacturing (Kunshan) (緯新資通(昆山))、Protek (Shanghai) (昌碩科技(上海))、Pegaglobe (Kunshan) (世碩電子(昆山))の工場となり、これらの企業はすべて中国国内に工場を保有する。

Futaihua Industry (Shenzhen)とHong Fu Jin Precision Electronicsは台湾のFoxconn Technology Group (鴻海科技集団)傘下、Wistron InfoComm Manufacturing (Kunshan)は台湾のWistron (緯創資通)傘下、Protek (Shanghai)とPegaglobe (Kunshan)は台湾のPegatron (和碩聯合科技)傘下であり、Apple iPhone 8とApple iPhone 8 PlusはFoxconn Technology Group、Wistron、Pegatronが傘下企業の工場を通じて製造することになる。
