LeEcoがCoolpadの株式を一部売却

LeEco (楽視)ブランドを展開する中国のLe Holdings (楽視控股)は中国のCoolpad Group (酷派集団)の株式の一部を売却した。

2015年にLe Holdingsは子会社で香港特別行政区のLeview Mobile HK (楽風移動香港)を通じてCoolpad Groupの株式を取得し、さらに2016年にはLeview Mobile HKを通じてCoolpad Groupの株式を追加取得していた。

Le Holdginsは間接的にCoolpad Groupの株式28.78%を保有し、Coolpad Groupにとって最大の株主となっていたが、Leview Mobile HKはCoolpad Groupの株式17.83%を英領ヴァージン諸島のPower Sun Venturesに売却した。

取引完了後、Le Holdingsは間接的にCoolpad Groupの株式10.95%の保有を継続し、Power Sun VenturesがCoolpad Groupにとって最大の株主となる。

なお、Le HoldingsはLeview Mobile HKを通じて所有する子会社で中国のLemobile Information Technology (Beijing) (楽視移動智能信息技術(北京))を通じてスマートフォン事業を手掛け、Coolpad Groupは子会社で中国のYulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shenzhen) (宇龍計算機通信科技(深圳))を通じてスマートフォン事業を手掛ける。

Lemobile Information Technology (Beijing)とYulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shezhen)の協業も積極的に実施していたが、Le Holdingsが資金不足に直面してからLemobile Information Technology (Beijing)の事業は実質的に中断状態にある。
