SingtelがIntouch Holdingsの株式取得を完了、タイ携帯電話事業者AISの主要株主

シンガポールのSingapore Telecommunications (Singtel)はシンガポール政府が所有する投資会社であるTemasek HoldingsからタイのIntouch Holdingsの株式を取得した。
Temasek Holdingsは全額出資子会社のAspen Holdingsを通じてIntouch Holdingsの株式40.50%を保有していたが、Singapore Telecommunicationsの全額出資子会社であるSingtel Global Investmentに株式21.00%を売却した。
取引の結果、Aspen HoldingsはIntouch Holdingsの株式19.50%、Singtel Global Investmentは21.00%を保有することになる。
Intouch Holdingsはタイの移動体通信事業者であるAdvanced Info Service (AIS)の筆頭株主であり、Advanced Info Serviceの株式40.45%を保有する。
また、Advanced Info ServiceにはSingapore Telecommunicationsの全額出資子会社であるSingtel Strategic Investmentsも直接出資しており、株式23.32%を保有する状況にある。
したがって、Singapore Telecommunicationsは間接的にAdvanced Info Serviceの株式31.8145%を持つことになる。
